Marty has been a professional in the music business for over 45 years in NYC. He is listed in "Who's Who in Entertainment".Marty moved to Manhattan from Brooklyn in 1975 and started working as an accompanist to cabaret singers.  He played many of the clubs of the day including the famous Continental Baths, Reno Sweeney's, The Improv, Catch A Rising Star and The Ballroom.  He has been an accompanist to many singers including Carly Simon, Karl Dixon, Ann Anello, Joey Heatherton, Jamie DeRoy and Bette Midler.  He made many of his close musical friendships playing in his very dear friend Thom Gambino's "Umano Orchestra"  a big band that promoted world peace through music.  This friendship would last many decades and continues to this day.  Thom became an integral part of Marty's production team and was Marty's right hand man on all of his big projects.  Marty has played keyboards in numerous bands and was a long time member of "Lex Grey and the Urban Pioneers" and "The Craft Band", "Songs For Sarah" and his favorite band with long time friend Terry Brock and "Southern Sons" with Kenny Aaronson (bass) and Andy Bigan (drums).  Additionally, Marty has played keys on many CD's for various artists.  Marty is a composer and has written music for daytime TV for ABC, PBS and CBS including "One Life to Live", "The Julia Childs Show" and "Another World" as well as scoring 5 feature length films and several documentaries and commercials.  Marty also does voice over and audible book recording.  He has worked with many industry notables such as Robert Klein, Joe Piscopo, David Brenner, Marilyn Michaels, and Julie Budd and recorded projects for guitar impressario, Dom Minasi and Nora McCarthy and Ras Moshe for "Manna For Thought"

He was commissioned by the United Nations Environmental Programme to score a documentary of photos and video shot from space of the Earth entitled "Only One Earth" to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Earth Day. It was presented in the General Assembly with 42 Astronauts and Cosmonauts in attendance.  In 1992 Marty wrote and produced "Let It Be Earth Day Every Day" an environmental fund raiser featuring 100 young celebrities from TV and film, including Jennifer Love Hewitt, Ashley Johnson, Seth Green, Darius McCrary and Sarah Gilbert.  His right hand Thom Gambino was with him all the way.  Marty worked closely with executive producer Tony Bongiovi and his world famous Power Station Studios where he took up residence as an in house composer/producer.  Marty now works in his personal studio producing his own projects as well as collaborating with and producing aspiring singer/songwriters.

Marty frequently works with best friend and music partner, 6 time Grammy award and Oscar winner Steve Boyer who has worked with Everybody.  Their collaboration started when both were working at Power Station Recording Studio.
